Backstitch Basics
Let’s start with the basics. Learn backstitch with your BFFs. All materials needed will be provided, and guests will go home with a finished (or close to it) sweatshirt, as well as some embroidery basics including:
hoop
thread
needle
water soluble marker
8 person minimum, 15 person maximum*. $75 per person, host is free.
*For less than 8 people, total class cost is $525
The design we stitch is up to the host. Ideas include a short word or name, monogram, or date. There are lots of possibilities! Email me and we can brainstorm the perfect project for your workshop.
Upon booking, you’ll select a thread color and sweatshirt color for guests.

Chain Stitch
Let's learn chainstitch. This beautiful stitch looks like a chain or a braid, and is great for a large, single letter. It's a bit more involved than the backstitch, but is still simple enough for beginners.
All materials needed will be provided, and guests will go home with a finished (or close to it) sweatshirt, as well as some embroidery basics including:
hoop
needle
thread
water soluble marker
8 person minimum, 15 person maximum*. $75 per person, host is free.

A large, single letter works best for this workshop, but if you have something else in mind, email me and let’s chat!

B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Denim)
Bring any piece of denim (jeans, jacket, shirt…) and let’s give it an upgrade. All embroidery materials needed will be provided, including:
hoop
needle
thread
water soluble marker
8 person minimum, 15 person maximum*. $50 per person, host is free.
*For less than 8 people, total class cost is $350
For this workshop, the host will chose the stitch (either back stitch or chain stitch).
For backstitch, guests should choose a name, word, or short phrase to embroider.
For chainstitch, a single letter works best.
Upon booking, you’ll select a thread color for guests.

The ideal class size is 8 - 15 people. Should you have less than 8 people, the class will be just as fun, however a minimum class fee applies.

Typically, I hold workshops from 7:30 - 9:30PM. You’ll see this option when you click the button to schedule, however if you would like to book your workshop for a different time, please email me for availability! I will be happy to accommodate if possible.
I recommend that guests arrive 15 - 30 minutes early to socialize so that we can start the workshop promptly.

Workshops are two hours long. Depending on the complexity of the workshop, most people should be able to complete their piece within this timeframe, and if not, have gained enough guidance from the class to be able to finish at home on their own.
For bigger groups, or more complex projects, there is an option to add an extra hour for $100.

Each guest will go home with a complete, or near complete project, as well as embroidery essentials to keep stitching on their own including:
needle
embroidery hoop
water soluble pen
Scissors will be available for guests to use, but I ask that they are returned at the end of the workshop. Embroidery scissors can be purchased as an add on for $12 each.

Not necessarily, but it is helpful to have a central idea or theme. It creates a better flow for the class and helps us stick to the two-hour time frame.

Click here to see thread color options. For most classes, all guests will use the same color. If you would like to offer multiple colors please let me know when booking!

Sweatshirt color options can be found here. Please note that premium colors are an additional $5 per guest. All sweatshirts are unisex, so they run on the larger side.

Sweatshirts come in XS - XL, and are unisex, so they run on the larger size. Please let me know quantities of sweatshirt sizes for guests at least 2 weeks in advance of your workshop.
